Welcome to the Department of Medical Informatics. This department focuses on practical research in medical informatics to improve quality and value in healthcare. Our research areas include developing a better Electronic Health Record system and Personal Health Record Applications; effective utilization of medical data; development of a medical information system that can be useful during disasters; implementation of AI services; and promotion of a standardized format for clinical data.
